Emma Cochrane, B. Arch, Master of Future Cities (Waterloo)
Emma turns complexity into coherent form. An artist, strategist and systems thinker, she leads creative direction across organizations, brands, products and places. She holds a B.Arch (Honours) degree from Carleton University's Azrieli School of Architectecture and is completing a Master of Future Cities at University of Waterloo. Emma has helped build Jackpine since 2013, bringing imagination, rigour and precision to every stage of the work.
Her work has been presented at DemocracyXChange and the National Sustainability Society conference at the University of Notre Dame.
Liam Mooney, M.Des. (OCADU)
Liam gets to the central decision quickly and builds momentum around it. A strategist, futurist and communications leader, he leads diagnosis, foresight, senior counsel, narrative and partnerships.
He holds a Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University, taught digital entrepreneurship and strategy at Carleton University for nine years, and has completed more than 200 media interviews on Canadian sovereignty, trade and Canada–US relations. His work has earned Forty Under 40 recognition and, with Emma, Newsmaker of the Year 2025.
