When The ONE Campaign opened its Canadian office they wanted to make an impact as soon as possible. They needed a creative agency that could act quickly to mobilize both its staff and the public. They asked Jackpine.
We hit the ground running with The ONE Campaign, coordinating the Canadian effort for the global Poverty is Sexist Campaign. We built a website where people could upload their Strengthie (think selfie meets Rosie the Riveter) and sent a team of volunteers out into the streets to take photos and raise awareness about poverty’s disproportionate effect on women.

The ONE Campaign does great work around the world, but they are a newcomer to Canada, so we had to do something that would put the organization on the public’s radar. The Strengthie project had strong street-level and online components, and created easily sharable content that participants could use to spread the message that Poverty is Sexist.
